Drew this last year, but do not believe I have shared it as it had some information for the players. As that campaign has ended, I can now share. This is probably one of my favorite "regional" type maps I've drawn.
The town was aptly named due to the sulfuric hot springs that lies just north of town. If you’ve ever been to Yellowstone, you understand the reason behind the name. Most times the winds carry the smells away from town, but sometimes the odor blankets the town and forces everyone indoors.
There is some discussion on the pronunciation, even among the inhabitants. I prefer the British-sounding “Shite-ton” myself.
I remember you talking about this campaign. Great map.
ReplyDeleteYeah it was good, just got to be too big of a group to handle for online gaming. Became quite a lot of work to keep it running.
DeleteLike the style!
ReplyDelete(Also loving the name Shiteton.)

This is a good little map, very nice style too. I wouldn't mind seeing more "regional" style maps like this from you.
