Rock Johnson & the Black Dog Caliphate

My buddy James George just released another product for their Barons of Braunstein series, Chronicles II: The Black Dog Caliphate. I got my hands on a copy, printed it out and read through it, absolutely fantastic, and on par with all of James & Robyn's work. I could totally see running this unique adventure for a group of friends. In honor of the release, I decided The Black Dog Caliphate made a smashingly good title for another imaginary pulp adventure for our hero Rock Johnson. Now, I wish someone would get off their butt and write these adventures so I could read them!

Be sure to check out James and Robyn's latest adventure:

  1. Yes! Saw the title yesterday on MeWe. And you should start writing, man!

    1. Thank you! Yes, and I did! Last night I knocked out over 1200 words in a single sitting. I am planning on editing it and dropping it here on the blog to see if people are interested. If so, I may continue it. Already have the first three books mostly outlined.

    1. I just completed the first 1,500 words for Enigma Tome. I am following Lester Dent's Pulp Plotting Method of writing, so I am one quarter of the way through. Thinking I will drop these entries on the blog and see if people like them. Who knows....

  3. If I may be so bold, you should come up with a bunch of Rock Johnson titles and make book covers now before they change the AI in some way or you get tired of paying for it or whatever. The art is amazing with a perfect pulp vibe. You can write books to match the titles next week.

    1. Thank you! Yes, I find the inspiration from the visual aids to be a major factor in my excitement for the story.

Do you have any suggestions for locations or story ideas that I can toss into MJ and see if I can create some more cool covers?

  4. Thanks! Closing in on the Enigma Tome and I thoroughly enjoyed the process. I learned few things that helped me through the process and made it not only easier, but far more enjoyable than any writing I have done in the past. I may share these at a later date.
