Still working on this, but getting closer. Need to tweak a few things, figure out those shields at the bottom and work on the background area a little more...but very close!

I know some of you have started to wonder, but yes, I still do occasionally draw maps. I recently reread Olde House Rules' Mydwander (thanks to my pal James bringing it up in a discussion) and it really got me interested in the game.
Wouldn't you know it, I like pretty things, specifically pretty things I make, so I decided I wanted to redo the setting map. Nothing wrong with OHR's version, I just want to make a big ass, scalable, and detailed map because I want to use it in a solo game using the system. Just started last night but I have converted everything over to vectors and have a basic layout for what I want the final version to look like (for now, likely to change some).

A simple map. Sort of in a funk today and I thought perhaps returning to old habits might flip that switch.
A fancy version.
Its been a bit, I have been busy and frankly, not really feeling RPGs much lately. Perhaps this will change. Made a simple map.
For those needing a GM ready map (eg, Vance or Shane), here you go.
Also, for Tim, who is always afraid he will anger the gods of printer ink, sans background.
I have finished the Willowford map and uploaded to Itch.io for download, the file is available in jpg and pdf, is free (or toss me a buck if you insist). I hope you like it, and yes, my little band of dogooders will be venturing here soon!
Yeah, we weren't about to fight that SOB either...
Completed the month of April, ended up pretty happy with how it turned out. What do you think? I will be converting this to a PDF, then removing the background (the month layout) so it will be a proper RPG map eventually.
I have continued working on my daily mapping idea. I am hoping when I am done I will export this to a PDF and make available for all.
Hope you are all well, happy gaming!
I have been playing around with my iPad to create a month long daily mapping journal using Goodnotes. Check it out!
I figure if I can keep at this, I will end up with a fairly cool ‘mega’-dungeon.
Playing around with Affinity photo and some Google Maps, I made this, the frontier fort my players are basing their explorations out of. I give you, Fort Druger!
Fun with tinting!
